The Desert Ridge Jaguars will be taking part in a tournament against the Coconino Panthers at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Desert Ridge is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.8 runs per game this season.
Desert Ridge is returning to their home field after beating Crismon on theirs, despite the fact Crismon has dominated at home this season. The Jaguars came out on top against the Rattlers by a score of 12-7 on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Jaguars.

Dylan Taylor looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has become a key player for Desert Ridge: the team is undefeated when he allows at most two earned runs, but 2-3 otherwise.
At the plate, Desert Ridge got a massive performance out of Tre Hallberg, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most RBI Hallberg has posted since back in March of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Kane Dobson, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base.
Desert Ridge was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .536. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .400 or higher in six consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Coconino fell victim to Crismon and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 13-0 to the Rattlers. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.
Desert Ridge's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Coconino, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
Coconino's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Desert Ridge has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11.6 hits per game. It's a different story for Coconino, though, as they've been averaging 8.7 hits. Given Desert Ridge's sizable advantage in that area, the Panthers will need to find a way to close that gap.
