The Raymond Seagulls scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against North Beach and snuck past 57-54. That's another feather in the cap for Raymond, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Christopher Quintana continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Banker, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Raymond's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.8 points per game. As for North Beach, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
Raymond will be home for the holidays to greet Willapa Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Willapa Valley will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. North Beach won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Black Hills at 2:00 p.m. on December 21st. Black Hills is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
