St. Joseph won the last time they faced Danbury and  Sarah Lovett did her part to make sure it happened again. The Cadets put the hurt on the Hatters with a sharp  3-0 victory on Monday with plenty of help from  Lovett, who  had 21  kills, five  aces,  and three  digs. She has been hot, having  posted 13 or more  kills the last five times she's  played.
 St. Joseph never let Danbury on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-18,  25-23.
 St. Joseph got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Lilly Kugit out in front who  had 32  assists and five  digs.  McKenna Stratton was another key player,  getting ten  kills and eight  digs.
St. Joseph's record now sits at 9-10. As for Danbury, their defeat was  their fifth straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 1-8.
 Looking ahead, St. Joseph will head out to  take on Stamford  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Danbury, they will be playing in front of their home fans against New Canaan  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Rams will roll in looking for their  tenth straight  victory, something the Hatters surely won't give up without a fight.
