The McBee Panthers entered their tilt with the Chesterfield Golden Rams with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. McBee came out on top against Chesterfield by a score of 64-57 on Monday. With that victory, McBee brought their scoring average up to 52.7 points per game.
Leading McBee to victory were Jakari Holloman and Darrell Harper. Holloman dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds, while Harper scored 18 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Harper has scored at least 25% of McBee's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jasson Brockington, who scored 9 points along with 10 rebounds.
McBee's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Chesterfield, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McBee will square off against Cheraw at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. Cheraw will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps South Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 241st, while McBee is ranked 106th). As for Chesterfield, they will head out on the road to face off against Great Falls at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
