Caiden Wood's Big Game Leads Oconee County over East Hall
Starting off the list is Oconee County's Caiden Wood, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Wood rushed for 181 yards and four touchdowns, and also picked up 56 receiving yards.

Cherokee Bluff was led to victory by Brooks Brien, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Brien threw for 278 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.1 yards per attempt, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
The victory for Cherokee Bluff keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Brien and Cherokee Bluff will be playing in front of their home fans against Monroe Area at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

This season, Thompson has caught 9 touchdowns while averaging 96.7 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 2.17 receiving yards per game.
