Brady Sutton's Big Game Leads Western Brown over Goshen
Thanks in part to Brady Sutton, Western Brown said goodbye to their five-game losing streak. Sutton was unstoppable on Friday, throwing for 369 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.9 yards per attempt, and also rushing for 100 yards on only ten carries. He has become a key player for Western Brown: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least three passing touchdowns, but 2-4 otherwise.
Goshen's probably not too fond of Sutton given he always seems to get the better of them. When Sutton last faced the Warriors back in October of 2023, he threw for 511 yards and three touchdowns.

Clinton-Massie was led to victory by Cooper Carmack, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Carmack rushed for 141 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, and also picked up 32 receiving yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 69 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
The win (which was Clinton-Massie's sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-2. Carmack and Clinton-Massie will head out to challenge New Richmond at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Western Brown's five-game losing streak is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Tye Spaulding. Spaulding did his part (and then some), making 17 total tackles (1.0 for loss) for the 'W'.
Spaulding is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Wilmington on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Spaulding saw the Hurricane), he picked up a sack and made 17 total tackles.
