After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Central, the Treasure Coast Titans were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They came out on top against Jensen Beach by a score of 46-34. For Treasure Coast, this counts as revenge for the 55-44 loss Jensen Beach walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.
Treasure Coast can attribute much of their success to Jade Ware, who scored 17 points. Samorae Frederick was another key contributor, scoring 7 points.
Despite the loss, Jensen Beach saw an underclassman step up: Lizzie Fitzwater scored 14 points along with 3 steals.
The victory got Treasure Coast back to even at 1-1. As for Jensen Beach, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Treasure Coast will face off against Jupiter at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Jupiter is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. Jensen Beach is on the road again on Thursday and play against Martin County at 6:30 p.m. on November 30th.
