The Rickards Raiders can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Florida State University High School 61-32 at home. Winning may never get old, but Rickards sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Genesis Henry was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Rickards' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jariyah Jordan, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Rickards pushed their record up to 12-4 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points per game. As for Florida State University High School, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10.
Rickards will take on Gainesville at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Gainesville is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games. As for Florida State University High School, they will be playing at home against Andrew Jackson at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
