Waterford is 6-1 against Miller since August of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Waterford Wildcats have the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome the Miller Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th.
Waterford fell victim to Fort Frye's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. The contest between the pair wasn't particularly close, with the Wildcats falling 16-0. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but they couldn't answer the 16 points Fort Frye scored afterwards.
Meanwhile, Miller put the finishing touches on their fifth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They claimed a resounding 47-6 victory over Manchester on the road. The win made it back-to-back wins for Miller.
It was another big night for Logan Doughty, who threw for 166 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Another player making a difference was Zander Bice, who rushed for 110 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries.
Waterford's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Miller, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Waterford against Miller in their previous meeting back in October of 2020 as the team secured a 49-0 victory. Does Waterford have another victory up their sleeve, or will Miller turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
