Jia Thapar continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 14 points along with six rebounds and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Ellie Roberts, who scored five points along with ten rebounds.
Despite the loss, Young Americans Christian still got an impressive performance from Shelby Housworth, who scored 12 points along with three steals. Serenity Phillips was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six rebounds.
Young Americans Christian struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Lanier Christian Academy racked up 12 assists.
Lanier Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season. As for Young Americans Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-10.
