The Hulett Devils gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 52-19 win over Meeteetse.
Several Longhorns players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kayla Horsen, who scored seven points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Camille Anderson, who scored five points along with six rebounds.
Hulett's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Meeteetse, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hulett will square off against Moorcroft at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Moorcroft focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 31 on Saturday. Meeteetse won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Arvada-Clearmont at 8:00 a.m. on December 9th.
