After a string of seven wins, Elizabeth's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They came up short against the Pitkin Tigers, falling 13-1. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Bulldogs couldn't push the score so high this time.

Elizabeth's loss dropped their record down to 21-7. As for Pitkin, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 13-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Elizabeth is set to face off against their familiar foe Anacoco at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pitkin will square off against rival Fairview at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
