Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Eagle's Landing to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tyson Moore, who went 6 for 10 en route to 15 points in addition to six boards and four steals. The contest was Moore's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Micah Medley, who posted 14 points and six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Eagle's Landing Christian Academy was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 61-57 to Woodland. The Chargers were up 23-9 in the first quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.
Eagle's Landing will need focus on slowing down Gavin Lamar, one of several Eagle's Landing Christian Academy players who made an impact when they last played. He had 12 points along with five boards and five steals. That's the most steals Lamar has posted since back in December of 2023. Jayden Bone was another key player, going 8 of 12 on his way to 17 points and eight rebounds.
Even though they lost, Eagle's Landing Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in three consecutive games.
