The team also got some help courtesy of  Zoe Jones, who  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with three  runs and one  stolen base.
 Meanwhile,  after some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matches, South Point finally came back down to earth  on Friday. They fell just short of Dawson-Bryant by a score of  2-0. The  game marked the first time this year in which the Pointers were not able to get on the board.
 Chesapeake's win bumped their record up to 7-17. As for South Point,  the  defeat snapped their winning streak at three games  and leaves them with a 13-7 record.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp  on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Chesapeake has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 2.8  stolen bases per game. However, it's not like South Point struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  an even more impressive 3.8  stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
