That makes it five consecutive games in which Rodriguez has scored at least 25% of Academy of Science and Innovation's points. Another player making a difference was Symber Ortiz-Sutton, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Academy of Science and Innovation's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Terryville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
Academy of Science and Innovation will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Plainville at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Plainville will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Connecticut Rankings (they are ranked 113th, while Academy of Science and Innovation is ranked 27th). Terryville won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Farmington at 2:30 p.m. on December 28th.
