The Allegany-Limestone Gators will stay at home for another  game and welcome the Otto-Eldred Terrors at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Both teams are strolling into their  contests after big wins in their previous games.
 Last Thursday,  everything went Allegany-Limestone's way against Randolph as Allegany-Limestone made off with  an  11-1 victory. The  win was just what Allegany-Limestone needed coming off of  an  18-8 loss in their prior  matchup.
 Otto-Eldred was handed a two-point  defeat in their last  match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Northern Potter  on Friday. Otto-Eldred blew past Northern Potter 13-3.
  Andrew Schenfield made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  only two  hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Schenfield was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances with three  RBI.
 In other batting news, Otto-Eldred got a  massive  performance out of  Manning Splain, who  scored three  runs and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances.  Hunter App was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs and  stealing three bases while going 2-for-3.
 Allegany-Limestone now  has a winning record of 2-1. As for Otto-Eldred,  the  victory also got them back to even at 1-1.
 Allegany-Limestone came up short against Otto-Eldred when the teams last played  back in April of 2023, falling  4-1. Thankfully for Allegany-Limestone,  Max Splain (who   struck out 15 batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
