If Atascocita wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Montgomery, they should've done a better job of containing Delaney Wright. The Bears came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 2-0 on Friday with plenty of help from Wright, who hit 76.2% for 16 kills and 14 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last 40 games she's played dating back to last season.

Montgomery's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Atascocita, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Montgomery didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Clear Springs on the 15th. As for Atascocita, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Episcopal on the 15th.
