The Fallbrook Warriors came tearing into Friday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Mission Vista and snuck past 48-45. For Fallbrook, this counts as revenge for the 77-70 defeat Mission Vista walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November.
Fallbrook can attribute much of their success to Malaki Brotherton, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. Samuel Carmona was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 8 rebounds.
Fallbrook's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-4. As for Mission Vista, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.
Fallbrook's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Crawford at 6:30 p.m. on December 12th. One thing working in Crawford's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matchups. As for Mission Vista, they will head out on the road to face off against Valley Center at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
