Winthrop won the last time they faced Boothbay and things went their way on Monday too. The Winthrop Ramblers put the hurt on the Boothbay Seahawks with a sharp 47-27 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Ramblers.

Winthrop has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.3 points per game. As for Boothbay, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Winthrop will take on Mount Abram at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Mount Abram will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Winthrop surely won't give up without a fight. As for Boothbay, they will square off against Dirigo at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Boothbay is facing Dirigo at the right time seeing as Dirigo is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
