The Amityville Memorial Warriors will be playing at home against the Wyandanch Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Amityville Memorial and 12 for Wyandanch dating back to last season.
Amityville Memorial fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Miller Place on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They received a tough blow as they fell 61-47 to the Panthers.
Meanwhile, Wyandanch was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap last Monday as they fell 48-42 to Miller Place. Wyandanch has not had much luck with Miller Place recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Amityville Memorial has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Wyandanch, their loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-9.
Amityville Memorial took their victory against Wyandanch in their previous matchup back in January by a conclusive 50-24. Does Amityville Memorial have another victory up their sleeve, or will Wyandanch turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
