AA Region 3 recap Oct. 9, 2012
East Laurens moved up to 182 from 211 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in AA Region 3. The Falcons were able to make the jump by beating Dublin 46-17.
East Laurens took down the Fighting Irish 46-17 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Harlem's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bulldogs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Trey Price has thrown for 207 yards this season, while Dalton Green has one catch for 46 yards. Dontel Frails leads the league in rushing with 404 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Westside takes on Laney. The Patriots are in third place, while the Wildcats are in fourth place.
The Falcons made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 4,676 from 5,355. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 46-17 victory over Dublin last week.
