If the Fannin County Rebels were riding high off their 5-1 takedown of the Pepperell Dragons last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Fannin County fell just short of Gilmer by a score of 2-1. Fannin County has not had much luck with Gilmer recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Fannin County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Gilmer, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Fannin County will head out on the road to challenge North Murray at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Gilmer, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Trion at 7:00 p.m.
