The Patriot Prep Academy Eagles lost against the Grandview Heights Bobcats back in January of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Patriot Prep Academy was outmatched by the Bobcats on the road and fell 50-22. While losing is never fun, Patriot Prep Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 723rd, while the Bobcats are ranked 334th).
Tatum Lusher was her usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with eight rebounds and four steals for Grandview Heights. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlotte Tucker, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Patriot Prep Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Grandview Heights, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Patriot Prep Academy will face off against the Rockets at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Berne Union is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. As for Grandview Heights, they and the Vikings will face off at 6:30 p.m. on February 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
