Volleyball Recap: Florence's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lamar, Florence was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Fountain Valley Danes by a score of 3-1. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Huskies as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 23-25, 26-24, 25-14.

Despite the defeat, Fountain Valley saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kylin McKessy had 15 digs and one block.

Florence picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-5. As for Fountain Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Looking ahead, Florence is taking a road trip to square off against La Junta at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fountain Valley, they will take on Monument Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
