Berrien is 9-1 against Atkinson County since November of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Berrien Rebels will be playing in front of their home fans against the Atkinson County Rebels at 6:00 p.m. Atkinson County took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Berrien, who comes in off a win.
Last Saturday, Berrien's game was all tied up 28-28 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They managed a 51-46 win over Bacon County. The victory was just what Berrien needed coming off of a 57-24 defeat in their prior match.
Meanwhile, Atkinson County came up short against Brantley County on Friday and fell 37-29.
Atkinson County's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Savanna Williams, who scored 9 points, and Kamari Moore who scored 8 points.
The victory got Berrien back to even at 3-3. As for Atkinson County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
Berrien strolled past Atkinson County in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 by a score of 56-40. Does Berrien have another victory up their sleeve, or will Atkinson County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
