Leading Carroll to victory were Devon Pruitt and Peyton Plott. Pruitt scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks, while Plott scored 25 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The matchup was Pruitt's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was N'jia Gosha, who scored six points along with four blocks.
Carroll has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. As for Luverne, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.
