The Y Yuma's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Thursday after their fourth straight  loss. They fell to Wiggins  47-41. The  contest was a  22-22 toss-up at halftime, but Y couldn't quite close it out.
 When it comes to explaining why Y lost, one person who can't be blamed is  Jade Lungwitz. Despite the final result, she  scored 15 points.  Alina Moran was another key contributor,  scoring seven points along with two  blocks.
 Wiggins got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Tyleigh Fehseke out in front who  scored ten points along with five  rebounds and four  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Fehseke has scored all season. Another player making a difference was  Kennedy Kerr, who  scored 11 points along with seven  steals.
 Y's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Wiggins,  the  win  got them back to even at 7-7.
 Y will head out on the road to  take on  the Indians at 4:30  p.m.  on Saturday. Strasburg will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak. As for Wiggins, they will be playing at home against the Buffaloes at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked  in Colorado (Caliche is ranked 125th, while the Tigers are ranked 104th).
