Basketball Recap: Ramona Now 4-1 over Last Five Games

Ramona won the last time they faced Tahquitz, and Troy Terrell did his part to make sure it happened again. The Ramona Rams walked away with a 59-50 win over the Tahquitz Titans on Thursday thanks in part to Terrell, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 14 boards. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for four straight games.

Another player making a difference was Andrew Green, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten boards. Green is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least nine every time he's taken the court this season.

Ramona has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.2 points per game. As for Tahquitz, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Ramona will take on Canyon Springs in a holiday battle at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday at. As for Tahquitz, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Hemet at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Hemet knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight games -- so hopefully Tahquitz likes a good challenge.
