The LaConner Braves will be playing in front of their home fans against the Coupeville Wolves at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. LaConner knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight contests -- so hopefully the Wolves like a good challenge.
Even though LaConner has not done well against the Hurricanes recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. LaConner took down the Hurricanes 56-39.
Meanwhile, Coupeville didn't have too much breathing room in their match against the Wolverines on Friday, but they still walked away with a 56-52 victory.
LaConner's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5. As for Coupeville, their win bumped their record up to an identical 13-5.
LaConner won a game that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in January, slipping by the Wolves 69-68. Does LaConner have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wolves turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
