Northern Durham's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Hillside Hornets as Northern Durham made off with a 10-0 win. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hornets, too.

Roxy Nelson was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most runs she has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Eleri Herrera, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Northern Durham was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .452. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .423 or higher in three consecutive matches.

Northern Durham's victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-9. As for Hillside, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-2.

After both having extra time off, Northern Durham and Chapel Hill will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on April 8. As for Hillside, they will face off against East Chapel Hill at 5:00 p.m. on April 8. Hillside's pitchers better be ready for this one: East Chapel Hill has averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season.
