Seven Rivers Christian suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Thursday. They were dealt a 72-30 loss at the hands of Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate. While losing is never fun, Seven Rivers Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 522nd, while Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate is ranked 71st).
Hernando Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Seven Rivers Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.
Things could have been worse for Hernando Christian Academy, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 60-41 loss to Seven Rivers Christian when the teams last played back in December of 2023.
