Linn's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Zach Hatfield, who scored 14 points along with 7 rebounds. Hatfield scored a full 31.1% of Linn's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Gus Peters was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 3 steals.
Osage's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Linn, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Osage will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Knob Noster at 5:00 p.m. on December 21st. As for Linn, they will face off against Macks Creek at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Macks Creek comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
