The Enderlin Eagles will be home for the holidays to greet the Lisbon Broncos at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Enderlin had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They enjoyed a cozy 50-33 win over Strasburg/Zeeland on Monday.
Enderlin found their leader in underclassman Karson Gruba, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Cimbura, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Meanwhile, Lisbon beat Maple Valley on Saturday by the very same score they won with last week: 56-46. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Lisbon.
Enderlin's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-0. As for Lisbon, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.
