The Tina-Avalon Dragons lost against the Brunswick Wildcats back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Tina-Avalon was beaten by Brunswick 69-21. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Tina-Avalon has scored all season.
Clay Sturgeon was Tina-Avalon's leading scorer, having posted ten points.
Tyler Singer held things down on the boards with five rebounds. He took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.
Tina-Avalon has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for Brunswick, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-2.
Tina-Avalon will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Higbee at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2024. Brunswick will be home for the holidays to greet Salisbury at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Missouri (Salisbury is ranked 93rd, while Brunswick is ranked 98th).
