Sparkman won the last time they faced Brooks and things went their way on Friday too. The Senators came out on top against the Lions by a score of 2-0. While the Senators didn't have the best season last year (they finished 13-26), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brylee Harrison, who had seven kills and five aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Keeton, who had eight assists and four aces.

Sparkman's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Brooks, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-5.

Sparkman didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Athens on the 30th. As for Brooks, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Hartselle on the 30th.
