Milan added to the longest winning streak in Huron this week by beating St. Mary Catholic Central, 21-14. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
Airport scaled the state rankings by moving to 274 from 313 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Jets were able to move up by topping Grosse Ile 27-7.
Matt Hartwick was a force in the backfield as Huron bested Jefferson.
Hartwick was a passing and rushing force as the Chiefs topped the Bears. He completed 4 passes for 50 yards and 1 touchdown and also ran for 262 yards.
Tyler Olson and Hartwick gave Huron a balanced attack in passing and rushing last week. Olson threw for 64 yards and 1 touchdown, while Hartwick ran for 262 yards. Ian Robinson also contributed to the rushing game with 228 yards on the ground.
