While Cornwall Central put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Valley Central. The Dragons blew past the Vikings 9-0. The result was nothing new for the Dragons, who have now won seven matches by nine runs or more so far this season.

Cornwall Central is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Valley Central, their loss dropped their record down to 7-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Cornwall Central will challenge rival Warwick at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Valley Central is set to square off against their familiar foe Minisink Valley at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
