It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Pahranagat Valley had no problem doing just that  on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Pyramid Lake Lakers as they made off with  a  12-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won 20 contests by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Hadee Walch made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. That's the most  strikeouts  she has posted since back in May of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 3-for-5 with one  stolen base and one  run. She has been hot, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last eight times she's  played.
 In other batting news,  Cami Cannon and  Shada Spencer did most of the damage at the plate:  Cannon  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI, one  triple,  and one  run, while  Spencer  got on base  in three of her five plate appearances with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  run. That's the most  RBI  Cannon has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of  Paisley McVey, who  went 1-for-4 with three  runs and one  double.
The  victory (which was Pahranagat Valley's sixth in a row) raised their record to 22-8. The  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Pyramid Lake,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 16-9.
 Pahranagat Valley has already played their next game,  a  12-9  victory against Wells on the 16th. Pyramid Lake has also already played their next  match (against Round Mountain), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
