Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Overhills). They were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the E.E. Smith Golden Bulls on Friday. Skylar Hayes was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

The victory got Overhills back to even at 5-5. As for E.E. Smith, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Overhills will challenge Western Harnett at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for E.E. Smith, they will face off against Pine Forest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. E.E. Smith will need to watch out since Pine Forest has now posted at least four goals in their last six contests.
