Despite the loss, DePaul Cristo Rey had strong showings from Britain Starks, who scored 14 points, and Christian Taylor-Thomas, who scored 12 points. Taylor-Thomas continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.
Riverview East Academy's loss ended a 14-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-4. As for DePaul Cristo Rey, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
