In what's become a running theme this season, the Copley Indians gave their fans yet another huge win on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat McKinley 56-28 at home. The victory was nothing new for Copley as they're now sitting on four straight.
Copley got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Izzy Callaway out in front who scored 15 points. Callaway has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times she's played. Kami Ayoup was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Copley's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points per game. As for McKinley, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.
Copley will head out on the road to face off against Roosevelt at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Roosevelt will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 342nd, while Copley is ranked 13th). As for McKinley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hoover at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
