Nordheim is 10-0 against Austwell-Tivoli since February of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Nordheim Pirates will head out on the road to take on the Austwell-Tivoli Redfish at 7:20 p.m. Nordheim is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
On Wednesday, Nordheim earned a 53-45 win over Pettus. The victory was just what Nordheim needed coming off of a 94-54 defeat in their prior matchup.
Meanwhile, Austwell-Tivoli's ten-game losing streak dating back to last season came to an end back in December of 2023. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Pettus 68-39 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Austwell-Tivoli has managed all season.
Nordheim's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-9. Austwell-Tivoli's record now sits at 1-5.
Nordheim beat Austwell-Tivoli 77-68 in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Nordheim since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
