Leander has gone 8-2 against Glenn recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Lions will head out on the road to square off against the Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Fans were treated to a battle of the Lions on Friday. Leander blew past Lockhart 12-2. The result was nothing new for Leander, who have now won 12 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Kylee Arnold made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out 13 batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). Those 13 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
In other batting news, Leander got a massive performance out of Avery Barnard, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits Barnard has posted since back in April of 2024. Madelyn Lee was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-5.
Leander kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Glenn got themselves on the board against Cedar Park on Friday, but Cedar Park never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Timberwolves with a sharp 12-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Grizzlies in their matchups with the Timberwolves: they've now won seven in a row.
Maddy Butler looked comfortable as she struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Brooke Cantu was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Brynn Cammacho also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Leander is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Glenn, their record is now 15-9.
Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Leander has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .469. However, it's not like Glenn struggles in that department as they've averaged .438. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Leander beat Glenn 9-4 when the teams last played back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
