Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask J.F. Webb). They took down the Granville Central Panthers 83-64 on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Warriors considering their 28-point performance the match before.

Leading J.F. Webb to victory were Daniel Wright and Joshua Barnette. Wright posted 31 points, while Barnette put up 22 points. Those 31 points gave Wright a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamani Lester, who had eight points.

J.F. Webb moved to 8-5 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Granville Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.

J.F. Webb didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 76-24 victory against Roxboro Community on the 18th. Granville Central has also already played their next match (against Vance County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
