Softball Recap: Parkway Drops Highest Score of Season Against St. Henry

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Parkway). They were the clear victors by a 19-5 margin over the St. Henry Redskins on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Parkway is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for St. Henry, they dropped their record down to 6-12 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parkway will host Marion Local at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Flyers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight. As for St. Henry, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Jefferson at 5:00 p.m.
