Volleyball Recap: Lemont's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

It was a good run, but Lemont unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Argo Argonauts. The Lemont HS were not able to make up for their loss to the Argonauts from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-19.

Lemont's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Argo, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Lemont will head out on the road to face off against Andrew at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Argo, they will be taking part in a tournament against Wheaton Academy at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
