Easton Platt gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in March on Thursday. He struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
