 Meanwhile, Silver Creek scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Thursday. They were the clear victor by  a  17-5 margin over Oak Grove. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Silver Creek.
 Piedmont Hills' win  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 12-7. As for Silver Creek, their victory  ended  a  five-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 5-14.
 Piedmont Hills came up short against Silver Creek when the teams last played  back in April, falling  6-2. Can Piedmont Hills avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
