Timberline (Lacey, Wash.) beat Mt. Tahoma (Tacoma, Wash.) 60-0 after a solid game from
Andrew Belloso, who rushed for five touchdowns.
After taking the lead on an
Andrew Paquin touchdown run in the first quarter, the Blazers were up 47-0 at the half.
Timberline grew its lead to 54 points entering the fourth quarter. THS's lone score in the quarter came on an Paquin touchdown run.
Belloso and Paquin ran for a bunch of touchdowns for the T-Birds.
Timberline's most effective player was Belloso. He kicked six extra points.
Coming into the game the Blazers had allowed 23.2 points per game this year.
Timberline also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 46-6.
The win brought Timberline's winning streak to three games.
In a 3A Narrows game next week Mt. Tahoma (0-7) takes on Shelton, and Timberline (4-3) will go up against North Thurston also in a 3A Narrows game.
