Alexandria Kurth posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. She struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off nine hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances.

Kurth's effort led Harford Tech over North Harford and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
